The definition of work needs to change today

Work is often reduced to answering the question, “What do you do?” But that definition barely scratches the surface of human potential. Today, we need a deeper, more purposeful understanding of work. In physics, W = F × d—work is the force applied multiplied by the distance something moves. When you see your work through that lens, everything shifts. Your day becomes about the energy you bring, the resistance you face, the movement you create—physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. You’re not just completing tasks; you’re moving your body through space, pushing against gravity, and navigating the psychological forces shaping our world. That’s the real work—and it changes how you show up in every moment.

"Success is not good luck, It's Good skills"

Tony Tenaglier attributes his "success" in life and work to the result of carefully developed skills. Join the Work Sucks, But I Like It Podcast each week, where he discusses the "skills" needed to achieve a healthy work-life balance and avoid burnout in today's demanding environment, especially when work sometimes feels like it sucks.
